Are you getting enough protein?

Protein is vital for good health. You need it to boost energy and immunity, to improve your mood, to feed your skin, hair, and nails, and to keep your brain in tip-top condition. And that’s just for starters. But how much protein do you need?

Well your protein requirements depend upon your weight and level of activity. Check out our guide below. . .

Protein pointers
Whenever possible try to spread out your protein consumption throughout the day (instead of leaving most of it until dinner time!). Our bodies can’t store protein so we either use it or lose it.

Experts suggest that it’s good to aim for at least 20g of protein during each meal and 5-10 grams from snacks. But when in doubt, speak to your GP.*
